Oceana Baity, L.Ac, MS offers a unique approach to health and wellbeing, integrating over 15 years of study in Yoga, Acupuncture, Nutrition, Essential Oil Therapy, bodywork, meditation and personal inquiry.
A life-long intrigue with Chinese Medicine and a nagging rotator cuff injury brought her to Tri-State College of Acupuncture in NYC from which she graduated with honors in 2011. During her 3-year Master's program she studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), as well as well as Trigger Point Dry Needling, an advanced technique of needling for pain syndromes and musculoskeletal injury. She incorporates her advanced trainings in Aroma Point Acupuncture, which uses the application of essential oils on acupuncture points and Esoteric Acupuncture, a chakra-based acupuncture, to provide deep spiritual and energetic centering for her patients.
Oceana completed her 200-hour and prenatal teacher trainings at Om Yoga Center in 2001 and has been a senior teacher at Kula Yoga Project in NYC since 2003. She graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and has been a practicing health coach since 2004. For more than a decade she has lead yoga retreats both near and far; workshops combining yoga, acupuncture and essential oils; and numerous lectures on natural healthcare, cleanses and self-care practices.
She maintains a private practice in NYC specializing in pain conditions, women's health, stress-reduction and digestive disorders. She draws on this constellation of healing modalities to create a holistic, individualized treatment for each of her patients.
